Site Investigation

Geotest Civil Services undertakes site investigation works to collect geotechnical information on behalf of developers, contractors and others to provide the information required by engineers and designers to enable informed design decisions to be made and to achieve the best possible end product for their Clients. 
  The majority of investigation works performed supports the design of roads, pavements and smaller engineered projects for private developers, consultants, municipalities and State Government agencies. The scope, nature and methodology adopted for each investigation is determined by the type and extent of the information that is required to be collected.

Field Services

Geotest Civil Services, through our skilled and competent staff, provides a number of services to our Clients in the field. This includes activities such as Field sampling and testing, Compaction control (using portable nuclear density gauges), Level One supervision activities for bulk earthworks, assistance with selection of appropriate products to meet a particular performance requirement, or simply visiting a construction site to provide advice and guidance on how to resolve a particular earthworks related issue.

Laboratory Services

Testing for a wide range of construction materials properties is performed within our NATA accredited laboratory in North Geelong. All testing is performed in accordance with relevant Australian standards and contract specification requirements. Quality control testing including Compaction control, material properties and performance characteristics are all a part of the service that we provide.
